FAQ

Prospective Students

“Newly registered CCBE students may be required to complete a Placement Test. This is used to determine which level students will be placed at. The test consists of comprehension, writing, reading, and oral skills. The placement test is usually administered during the registration process and no preparation is necessary.”

Current Students

“Tutoring services are provided at the center at no extra cost. It is the responsibility of students to request for help from their teachers should they encounter challenges. Therefore, all students are encouraged and expected to actively engage and participate in their own learning.”

Account

“New students will receive an EMSB email and temporary password at the beginning of the semester from their teacher. The accounts must first be activated using an EMSB device. It takes at least 48 hours after registration for an EMSB email and temporary password to be generated. Your EMSB email is your primary source of communication with teachers, advisors and other staff at Wagar. Please ensure you check it regularly, and should you realize you are not receiving emails please inform your teacher.”
